| If
you would like to reserve a computer lab in the Language Media
Center, you must be a registered user. You may request a username
via the New User Registration
Form. You will be sent a username and password. |
Note
that all reservations must be made in accordance with the
Policies for Reservations and
Requests.
Note
especially that reservations must be made by midnight of
the preceding day.
(The Language Media Center reserves the right to modify
or cancel any reservations that do not comply with these
policies.) |
| To
change your password:
- Go to http://www.polyglot.pitt.edu/sched/.
- Click on
"For Registered Users."
- At the next
screen, in the lower left-hand area of the screen, type
in your username and current password.
- Click on "Lab
Login." You should see a welcome message
along with your name.
- Now in the
lower left-hand area of the screen, click on "edit
my profile."
- Type in a
new password and click on "Update."
Note:
If you forget your password, notify Lab Manager LaShanda
Lemmon at polyglot@pitt.edu.
Your password can be re-set easily. |
To
make a new reservation:
- Go to the
Language Media Center website (http://www.polyglot.pitt.edu)
in the normal way.
- Click on
the Schedule button (or go directly to http://www.polyglot.pitt.edu/sched/).
- Click on
Registered User.
- Log in with
your username and password.
- Click on
Return to Lab Schedule.
- The current
date should appear.
- Select the
desired month from the calendar in the upper right-hand
corner.
- Click on
the desired date.
- If the desired
time slot is available, click on "reserve"
- fill out the
reservation form.
- Click
on "Submit."
- When you see
the reservation confirmation, click on "Return
to Lab Schedule" and verif that your reservation
is displayed correctly on the web page for that date.

see all your reservations:
Below
the "Log Me Out" button, click
on "show my reservations" to
see a list of all your reservations for the entire semester. |
| To
change an existing reservation:
- Log in as
a registered user.
- Go to the
time slot that you wish to change.
- Click on
"edit."
- On the next
screen, change the desired items.
- Click on
"Update" at the bottom of the screen.
- When you see
the reservation confirmation, click on "Return
to Lab Schedule" and verif that your reservation
is displayed correctly on the web page for that date.

screen, click on the date and time of the reservation
to be canceled.
- At the bottom
of the next screen, click on "delete."
