Project Description

Amy Davis Troyani

Objective:
Students will gather information from designated websites and report on customs relating to CARNAVAL traditions in a variety of Spanish-speaking countries.

Procedure:
The school librarian will provide an overview of computer operations (both hardware and software) that will allow students to proceed with the project.

Students will receive handout requesting information about CARNAVAL history, music, costumes, and other related traditions. In order to complete the handout, students will search for the information in the CARNAVAL folder on the Perry Traditional Academy library website.

Time Requirements: Three days will be allotted for this project, one for technology introduction and project introduction, and two for student completion of search and reporting to class.
