Description: In today's ever-changing educational landscape, Learning Management Systems (LMS) play a pivotal role in shaping language learning experiences. This presentation will demonstrate innovative design strategies aimed at boosting LMS efficiency in captivating language learners and increasing remote engagement and self-efficacy. The presentation will delve into instructional design principles, the creation of user-friendly interfaces, and content development which are tailored to support diverse learning styles, foster active learning, and encourage self-directed language learning. Additionally, the presentation will highlight the significance of promoting collaboration, communication, and feedback within the LMS, arming the African language instructors with practical tools to transform their LMS into an inspiring and empowering environment for language learners.
