Need help setting up Canvas for your class or a refresher for operating Zoom? Do you have tons of language data that needs cleaning and reorganizing? Our lab managers and trained student employees provide consulting services.

One-on-One Technical Assistance

Tutorials and how-to documents are everywhere on the web, but sometimes a sit-down with a helpful and knowledgeable person is just what we need in order to get that piece of technology working exactly the way we need. The RHLMC's friendly staff are ready to help! Lashanda Lemmon (manager) is available during the day (until 5pm), and Barry Johnson (assistant manager) during evening hours (until 8pm). Programming-Based Assistance

Some problems are much quicker to solve through help of an experienced computer programmer rather than painstaking manual labor. The RHLMC has skilled Student IT Specialists with computer science backgrounds who can help you with your research projects, data conversion and other needs. Example scenarios:

  • Case 1: faculty has lots of digital data which needs cleaning and reorganization
  • Case 2: faculty needs to redact student names and emails from a large collection of data

Our student IT Specialists take on these problems as special client projects and work under the supervision of the center's director. Please send an inquiry to Na-Rae Han.
