Hybrid teaching that combines in-person instruction with online components has been drawing much interest lately among language programs. At Pitt, the Russian Language Program has been running their elementary and intermediate levels as a hybrid program, with 3 synchronous and 1 asynchronous credit and language learning activities and assessments taking place online and in the classroom. In this TiLT Forum presentation, Olga Klimova will share with us design specifics of their hybrid curricula, how they have been working out in practice, and tips for successful administration.
